Information collected

We receive account identifiers such as email address, authentication-provider information, display name, profile fields, uploaded media, posts, follows, reactions, scanners, and settings that you choose to provide.

We may also process device, browser, IP address, security, request, and usage information needed to operate, protect, debug, and improve the service. Stripe processes payment details; Wook of Wall Street does not need to store complete card numbers.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate members, provide profiles and community features, operate subscriptions, personalize member tools, prevent abuse, maintain security, communicate about the service, and satisfy legal obligations.

Public profile fields, posts, reactions, and other content you choose to publish may be visible to other members. Avoid posting private financial, identity, or contact information that you do not want others to see.

Wook AI

Questions you ask Wook AI, and the lookups it runs to answer them, are processed by the AI model providers that power it in order to produce the answer. Answers given on the Portfolio panel use your account figures for that answer only.

Questions asked on public pages such as ticker, market, news and story pages are kept together with the lookups used, the answer, and any rating you give it, so we can check accuracy and improve Wook AI, including training Wook's own models. Dollar amounts and percentages in them are masked before they are kept.

From other questions — those about your connected portfolio, follow-up questions, and anything that reads your own lists — Wook AI keeps only their shape: the question and which lookups it used, with every ticker, company name and number replaced by a placeholder. Your account figures and holdings, what the lookups returned and the answer are not kept. A rating you give one of these answers is kept with its shape. A question containing an email address, phone number, password or key is not kept at all.

You can choose, in Settings or under Wook AI on your Portfolio page, to share whole conversations, portfolio questions included, to help train Wook's own models. They are then kept with the same replacements and every dollar amount and percentage masked. This is off unless you turn it on. Turning it off stops sharing, and conversations shared earlier are left out of every later training run. Kept questions are deleted with your account or on a deletion request.

Service providers

The service relies on providers including Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and functions; Stripe for billing; and Vercel for hosting and privacy-friendly website analytics. Vercel Web Analytics provides aggregated traffic and referral information without third-party tracking cookies. These providers process information under their own terms and security practices.

Information may be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate abuse, or as part of a business reorganization subject to appropriate protections. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and security

Information is retained for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet billing and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. Stories are designed to expire from the active feed after 24 hours, although infrastructure backups or stored media may persist for a limited period.

Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Use a secure email account or identity provider and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.

Choices and requests

You may edit available profile fields, delete your own posts where the product provides that control, cancel a subscription, or stop using the service. Privacy or deletion requests may be submitted through the support channel made available by Wook of Wall Street.

The service is not directed to children under 18. Do not create an account if you are under 18. This policy may be updated as features and providers change.
